What is an affiliate link?
It’s a link to a tool’s website with a code that tells the tool you came from here. If you then sign up for a paid plan, the tool may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same as going to the site directly.
Which links on this site are affiliate links?
Right now none. Links to tools go straight to their official sites. When an affiliate link is added, this list will show it and the page that contains it will carry a short note pointing here.
Affiliate links are also marked in the page code with rel="sponsored", the standard way to tell search engines that a link is paid.
Does a commission change what we recommend?
No. We only state facts that appear in each tool’s official documentation, we mention free plans whenever they exist, and we cover tools whether or not they have an affiliate program. If a tool pays a commission, that doesn’t earn it a better review or a better spot on the page.
Does the site show ads?
Not right now. If ads are added, they will be clearly labeled as advertising and kept apart from the content.
What about cookies and your data?
Affiliate programs usually use cookies to record that a visit came from here. Before any such program goes live, the privacy policy will be updated to say which companies are involved and what they collect.
